Born in Japan in 1980.
In 2009, Ai broke the Asian Female Record in Constant Weight without fins at Cenote Azul, Mexico. In 2011, Ai set 2 Guinness World Records for the Longest swim in a Cave with one breath, both with and without fins.
The records were made in Chikin-Ha, Mexico. Without fins was the first such attempt by a human in this category anywhere in the world.
Today, Ai is one of very few people in the world specialized in underwater performance arts, modeling and filming by Apnea(freediving). Her unique lifestyle, thoughts and passion to the ocean inspire many people around the world. She does performance arts in aquariums, TV programs and Films, for underwater modeling, the photos appeared in photo books, magazines, advertisement for countries official tourist offices, and her films taken by apnea in events, aquarium expositions, talk show, dance and music performances.
