Features

High Picture Quality
The D50 features Advanced O.I.S. and a 42x Optical Zoom. Advanced O.I.S. prevents blurry images caused by unsteady hands as you shoot, so images are clear, sharp and beautiful when displayed on a big TV screen. The 42x Optical Zoom lens is the most powerful zoom available, and also features low distortion.

Shooting Functions
There is no more need for bothersome fast-forwarding or rewinding. You can start shooting as soon as you turn on the power. The index screen also lets you find recorded data at a glance, making it easy to delete parts you don't need or even change the sequence of recorded scenes.

Networking
DVD camcorders give you cable-free, connection-free playback. Just slip the recorded disc into your DVD player and let the show begin. With DVD's high-speed data transfer, you can also dub quickly and easily onto a DVD video recorder's hard disk and then save your recordings onto a DVD.
