The HS100 features the world’s first*1 3MOS system – 3MOS Sensor, New Leica Dicomar Lens and HD Crystal Engine. The new MOS sensor further expands about 2 times*2 the light-receiving area of a CCD sensor to give you crisper, clearer images in dimly lit locations. You capture rich, expressive video with vivid colors and super-fine details that make your images come alive.

The manual ring gives you easy, fingertip control over the focus, zoom and exposure settings. This lets you create images that just aren't possible with automatic functions. The On-Screen Assist function guides you to the optimal exposure. It displays even tiny differences in brightness that you don't see in the LCD, to create the exact images that you are aiming for. |

The HS100 features the world's first* iA function which automatically judges the scene and makes the best possible settings, so you get wonderful, mistake-free shots in virtually any situation. With iA function, there's no longer a need to use different correction functions in different kinds of shooting situations.
