Creative Control / Creative Retouch

You can add different effects by applying one of the filters both in the recording mode (Creative Control) and the playback mode (Creative Retouch).

Expressive A pop art style image effect that emphasizes the color.Retro A soft image effect that gives the appearance of a tarnished photos and videos.High Key The image effect that become bright ambiance.
Low Key This effect creates a dark, peaceful atmosphere in the image as a whole, making bright areas stand out.Sepia An image effect that captures the subject using characteristic tones of sepia photos and videos.Dynamic Monochrome A monochrome image effect with higher contrast and more dramatic atmosphere.
High Dynamic An image effect that pictures dark and bright areas with appropriate brightness and with natural color.Toy Effect This effect produces vignetting, making it look like the image was taken with a toy camera.Miniature Effect Creating defocused and in-focus parts makes the subject look like a miniature model.
Soft Focus A soft appearance image effect created by intentionally blurring the entire image.

Panorama Shot

The Panorama Shot Mode makes it is possible to shoot a 360-degree horizontal / vertical panoramic image with consequent shots taken by overlaying the previous picture.

Handheld Night Shot Mode

The Handheld Night Shot Mode generates a beautiful night scenery with illumination by multi-layering the images shot consecutively. Bright, glamorous night scenery can be recorded without using a tripod.

3D Photo Mode

The 3D Photo Mode* produces a 3D image in the camera. The image-processing method used by LUMIX records beautiful images with less distortion or visible image links.

* The picture size is fixed to 2-megapixel (16:9).

3D Image Viewer

Take 20 panning shots and the camera selects the two most suitable images – one for the right eye and one for the left eye – to synthesize a 3D composite.

The 3D image can be played back on MPO-compatible equipment such as VIERA HDTVs and digital photo frames, or printed.

These functions are also available.

Cosmetic Mode: The Cosmetic Mode allows to take portraits with favored skin color (soft skin, natural skin, summer look) and degree of transparency of skin detail (low, standard, high).

4 Aspect Ratios[Open New Window]: In addition to 4:3, 3:2, and 16:9, you can shoot with a 1:1 aspect ratio. This unique square frame adds to your image expression possibilities.
