The DMC-FX90 integrates a Wi-Fi® connectivity (802.11 b/g/n) for easy, instant communication by image sharing. You can post the images shot with the camera on the target social image sharing service such as Facebook™, Flickr™, Picasa™ or YouTube™.
Just pressing Wi-Fi® button directly opens a Wi-Fi® Connection Mode outside home and gets WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup®) connection at home.
With the Firmware update, the Live Control allows you to connect a smartphone to your camera and view images from your camera on the smartphone. You can also remotely record still pictures.
A new service “LUMIX CLUB” offers external site link function to support easy SNS posting using the DMC-FX90 without having to worry about complicated settings.
Once acquired an account of LUMIX CLUB on the camera, you can compile the log-in information for the social services in it. This means that you do not have to log in each service separately. It is also possible to share images on different social services at a time.
Panasonic provides a free, dedicated application program “LUMIX LINK” for both iPhone® and Android™ OS smartphones.
Acquire the login ID and password for the “LUMIX CLUB” on the camera. Then, activate the application “LUMIX LINK” and log in “LUMIX CLUB” on the smartphone or on the computer browser.
You can upload images you want in the camera anywhere via a mobile network. You do not have to find a special access point.
You can instantly send images to your smartphone and enjoy viewing images on it, even in places with no wireless access points (broadband router).
You can directly upload the images to the image sharing service via the access point of home router. It is also possible to transfer the images to your computer with the wireless connection.

You can adjust the exposure compensation accurately and easily.
My Photo Album
The My Photo Album function lets you to sort images in the separate folders allowing quick, direct reach to the target images. You can sort photos “MY1: work / MY2: private / MY3: other” or “MY1:family / MY2:friends / MY3:hobby” or in whatever way you like.
You can directly choose the target folder in a SD/SDHC/SDXC Memory Card to copy it.
Image Stamp
With the newly added Image Stamp function, you can decorate photos with various stamp design.
PHOTOfunSTUDIO 6.4 HD Lite Edition with Wi-Fi®
The PHOTOfunSTUDIO 6.4 HD Lite Edition with Wi-Fi® makes it possible to sort and organize photos not only of those newly taken but also of those stored in your computer with quick start-up and fast read-in of images. Once installed in the computer, the DMC-FX90 can transfer the selected images to backup them in the computer via the wireless network.
Recorded videos can be edited with the Short Movie Story function and written into MPEG2 to burn onto a DVD disc. You can also enjoy making photo and video slideshows with a variety of effects and use your iTunes® music library as background music.
