The PHOTOfunSTUDIO smartly sorts your photos and videos into practical folders that are created automatically as you upload them from your camera to a computer. The folders and their icons interface are linked with your LUMIX.
The PHOTOfunSTUDIO organizes 3D photos in MPO (Multi-Picture Object) format. Images on the left are simultaneously copied in JPEG format and displayed in 2D. The PE / AE / 7.0 HD Editions also organize 3D videos.
The DMC-GH3 (8.5 PE), G6 (9.2 PE), GF6 (9.2 AE), LF1 (9.2 AE), ZS30/TZ40 (9.1 PE), TS5/FT5 (9.1 PE), SZ9 (9.0 AE) or SZ5 (8.4 SE) can transfer the selected images to backup them in the computer via the wireless network.

The PHOTOfunSTUDIO automatically sorts your images into virtual folders based on the faces you registered. You do not have to pick out each photo one by one out of thousands of photos when you only want pictures of a specific person.

You can upload your photos / videos to Facebook™ and videos to YouTube™. It's a quick way to share your photos and videos with friends and family.
• When uploading a motion picture, a motion picture of up to 15 minutes (2GB) can be upload to YouTube, and a motion picture of up to 2 minutes (100MB) can be uploaded to Facebook. When a motion picture that exceeds the size limit (100MB) is uploaded to Facebook, a warning screen may be displayed.
• You can upload a maximum of 15MB per still picture to Facebook. Up to 200 still pictures can be uploaded to an album. If the number exceeds the limit, delete still pictures from the upload destination album ore move still pictures to another album on the Facebook site.

Photos recoded in Burst Mode, Time Lapse Mode*1 or Stop Motion Mode*2 are displayed as a group or expand to display thumbnails. In addition, it is possible to convert a series of photos to an MP4*3 / MOV*4 video.

The geo-tagged photos and videos taken with the DMC-ZS30(TZ40) and DMC-TS5(FT5) can be sorted by the places automatically.

You can use PE / AE / HD Editions to create original videos by editing the video clips that you've recorded in AVCHD.

With the video retouch function of the PE / AE / HD / SE Editions, you can add objects (figures, text, etc.) to videos and Short Movie Stories. You can also perform setting that makes the added objects appear to move around, etc.
You can delete mistakes or unnecessary parts of videos in Motion JPEG format or MP4 format* that have been copied to the computer.

You can cut out still images in single-frame units from videos. This is ideal for catching the movements of a child or pet, or dynamic sports scenes.
With PE / AE / HD / SE Editions, you can create a video that lasts 2 to 3 minutes by selecting photos or videos that you like from those acquired to your computer. You can switch the images in sequence in accordance with the themed scenarios and music.
Select the ‘Short movie’ button from the menu.
Select the template that best suits your desired scenario.
The overall structure of the BGM is displayed in a graph, enabling you to check the position of the images in the scenario.
You can perform detailed editing by changing transitions and background colors, adding titles, etc.

The PHOTOfunSTUDIO lets you watch slideshows that are matched to the 4 kinds of background music – Natural, Slow, Swing and Urban – that come with the LUMIX slideshow function. It is also possible to choose your favorite iTunes music file as background music. In addition, you can save the slideshows that you've created so you can watch them as many times as you want.*

Saving photos or videos onto a DVD is easy even if you aren't used to handling computers*. The PE Edition handleｓ Blu-ray™ discs.
