External Flash DMW-FL220
Panasonic is announcing a firmware update service for the DMC-LX3, Ver1.1. This new firmware includes a compatibility update for the optional FL220 flash unit, and improves auto white balance performance under different color temperatures and lighting.
Panasonic invites all users of DMC-LX3 to apply the updated firmware. The new firmware will be available worldwide on 15th of December, 2008 at http://panasonic.jp/support/global/cs/dsc/.
Panasonic is introducing a new compact external flash DMW-FL220 designed for Lumix point-and-shoot cameras and interchangeable lens system cameras. The DMW-FL220 features GN22 flash covering full 24mm wide angle while maintaining outstanding mobility. The DMW-FL220 is compatible with DMC-L1, L10, G1, FZ50 and LX3.
