Powerful security is achieved, because the encryption key is stored on a security chip separate from the hard disk where data is stored. If there has been unauthorized access, theft, or loss of the hard disk, the encryption key will not be found.
- What is a Security Chip (TPM)*

Established by TCG (Trusted Computing Group), an organization promoting security standardization, TPM (Trusted Platform Module) is a computer chip that contains an encryption key for security and privacy protection.
* Installation of Infineon TPM Professional Package is required to use this feature.
- Hard disk data erase utility

Special software renders all of the data stored in the hard disk unreadable. You can use this software to easily minimize the danger of data being stolen when you discard the mobile PC.
- Hard disk protection

You can specify a password for accessing the hard disk. Even if someone removes the hard disk and connects it to another computer, the data cannot be accessed without the password.
