iF Design Awards 2008 Go to Three Panasonic Projectors

The iF (International Forum) Design Awards were announced on March 4th at the CeBIT 2008 show at Hanover Messe, Germany. A record number of three Panasonic Projectors were selected for the prestigious iF Product Design Awards, including two Gold Awards. This was the largest number of awards presented to a single projector brand in a year.

A projector designed for permanent installation in company meeting rooms and school classrooms. It features a brightness of 3,000 ANSI lumen, WXGA wide-screen projection, and two-screen simultaneous projection. A simple movable front panel makes the equipment dustproof and contributes to harmony with the installation environment.
A portable projector for business use, featuring the "easy wireless" function that can project data smoothly even without a PC cable. A compact slim body as small as an A4 sheet of paper and weighing only 1.9 kg, it is packed with ease-of-use functions, a brightness of 2,000 ANSI lumen, XGA, and quick startup of 2 sec before projection. A slim and noiseless design that blends in well with offices (meeting rooms) and offers no distractions from the screen. The control area is concentrated on the top face for ease of use, and includes an intuitively operable independent zoom focus.

A home cinema projector with a brightness of 2,000 ANSI lumen for enjoying images on a large screen even in a well lit room. Its soft appearance and pearl white color is designed to harmonize with any living room. Simplifying the shape of the exhaust vent gives it a smooth and streamlined appearance. A joystick-type lens shift allows intuitive understanding and adjustment of operation for increased operability. A user-friendly simple remote control allows an easy picture mode setting just by selecting the user environment (picture mode buttons).
