Lamp Replacement

Filter Maintenance

Panasonic projectors use long-life filter systems including the Auto Cleaning Filter and the Eco Filter. The Auto Cleaning Filter does not require filter cleaning or replacement for about 10,000 hours and the Eco Filter offers a maintenance cycle of up to 12,000 hours.

Also, over a LAN network, a computer's web browser can be used to operate individual Panasonic projectors, and an alarm messaging function can notify you when a lamp needs replacement, and indicate the overall projector status. This enables a highly efficient management system.

Replacing lamps in a ceiling-mounted projector is cumbersome.

Having to remove the projector to replace a lamp is inefficient. Is there a solution for this?

Ceiling-mounted projectors are usually selected for permanent installation in classrooms and seminar rooms. To replace a lamp in a ceiling-mounted unit, conventionally, the projector must be removed from the ceiling and brought down. This means extra time and labor.

Periodic filter maintenance is bothersome.

Filter maintenance is particularly bothersome for ceiling-mounted projectors, which are difficult to work on. Is there a solution for this?

Most projector problems are caused by dust. A dust-clogged filter reduces the cooling effect, and dust that accumulates inside the projector can lower both image quality and brightness.
Ceiling-mounted projectors are often less frequently maintained because they're not easily accessible for cleaning. In fact, it's hard work just to carry a ladder around to all of the projector sites in a large building to carry out maintenance for ceiling-mounted projectors.
Also, maintenance can be done only during certain time slots between lectures or after the building closes. This makes maintenance even more laborious.

I want a projector that can be turned off immediately after use.

I want to complete our projector installation and replacement with minimal effort.

I don’t want to spend time or money on extra installation work. Is this possible?

When replacing old projectors or installing new ones, special construction work may be necessary, depending on the projection distance and lens shift range of the projectors being installed.
When changing the installation location of a ceiling-mounted projector, you need to extend the cable, remove the previous mounting bracket, and reinstall it at the new location. This extra work causes additional costs. The time and cost of programming a new network can be another financial burden.

The lens shift, wide zoom range and a full line-up of optional lenses enable Panasonic projectors to be installed in many different places within a room.

When a projector cannot be installed directly in front of the screen, the lens shift function enables easy installation.
For large projectors for auditoriums, Panasonic offers a variety of optional lenses. By combining an optional lens with the power zoom/focus function, you can adjust the zoom and focus of a ceiling-suspended projector with the remote control and project the right projection size from a wide range of throw distances.
