Wiesbaden, 6th May 2013 - Panasonic today announced that it has been awarded three prestigious 2013 TIPA awards, widely recognised as one of the most coveted photo and imaging accolades worldwide. The Panasonic LUMIX DMC-GH3 has been awarded 'Best CSC Professional', Panasonic's LUMIX DMC-FT5 ranked first as the 'Best Rugged Compact Camera' and Panasonic's SDHC Gold, Silver and Blue series Memory Cards won the prize for the 'Best Imaging Storage Media'.

A TIPA jury spokesperson commented: “Panasonic’s Gold, Silver, and Blue range of SDHC memory cards offers users the ability to exactly match their budget and camera with their memory card usage and needs. For example, the Gold SDHC series are available up to 32GB and are Speed Class 10 rated with 90 MB/s read/ 45MB/s write speeds except the 8GB model which has a 25MB/s write speed.  The Silver series SDHC cards, available up to 32GB, are Speed Class 10 with 20MB/s capability. The Blue series cards are Speed Class 4 rated with a 15MB/s read and are available up to 16GB capacity.
