Advanced Seamless GUI
As the types of media continue to increase, the VIERA Link capability continues to evolve. The newly enhanced VIERA Link displays a menu on the TV screen, making it easier to operate the connected equipment.

* This function is available for Panasonic products that support VIERA Link (HDAVI Control 2 or above).

Automatic Input Switching
When the player playback starts, the TV's input automatically switches to the player. There is no need to use "INPUT SELECT" to display the playback content.

Automatic Blu-ray Disc/DVD Playback
When you want to watch a Blu-ray Disc/DVD movie, simply place the disc on the tray and press the close button. VIERA automatically changes the input source and plays back the Blu-ray Disc/DVD software.

Power Saving

Intelligent Auto Standby (Auto Power Stand-by)
After watching with the compatible player, the player automatically turns off when you return to the TV using the VIERA remote.
This function reduces power consumption.

* Available for 2009 VIERA with HDAVI control 4 compatible products.

Standby Power Save
The player with the Quick Start function will turn on/off when the TV is turned on/off.
This function reduces power consumption.

* 2009 VIERA TV, and 2009 video products compatible with Power Save or Quick Start.
* The power consumption value differs depending on the disc and the usage conditions.
* This function is available for Panasonic products that support VIERA Link (HDAVI Control 4 or above).

Automatic Standby Mode
When the power is turned off with the VIERA remote, the power of all AV products connected with HDMI cables is also automatically turned off.
