Anyone can set up home cinema easily by following the directions on the screen, for movie enjoyment with the possible sound. VIERA Link helps you to set up home cinema by setting it up to match VIERA's setting.

* This function is available for Panasonic products that support VIERA Link (HDAVI Control 4 or above).

TV channel setting information is automatically downloaded to a home cinema when it’s connected to VIERA with an HDMI cable. This eliminates the need to manually set the TV screen aspect ratio and menu language.

Panasonic’s home cinema is a great way to enjoy the music, video** and photo** content on your iPod. The list*** of iPod content can be displayed on the TV screen, and you can use the remote control from the home cinema or a VIERA TV to select and play it.

* Photo playback is not supported by the VIERA remote, to play back photos please use the iPod directly.

The AV control receiver SA-BX500 includes Auto Lip Synchronization via VIERA Link to match the image displayed on the TV with the sound reproduced from the speakers.

As the types of media continue to increase, the VIERA Link capability continues to evolve. The newly enhanced VIERA Link displays a menu on the TV screen, making it easier to operate the connected equipment.

Just press the "Play" button of the VIERA remote and the home cinema turns on. The sellected speakers change to home cinema from TV, the home cinema automatically starts movie playback.

Automatic Input Switching
When home cinema playback starts, the TV's input automatically switches to home cinema. There is no need to use "INPUT SELECT" to display the playback content.

If you call up the VIERA Link onscreen display and select "Home Cinema," the home cinema turns on and audio playback switches from the TV speakers to the home cinema speakers.

When the audio is being output from the home cinema, you can adjust the sound volume right on the VIERA remote. As you operate the sound volume up or down, the home cinema's sound volume is automatically turned up or down accordingly.

After watching and listening with the compatible home cinema, it automatically turns off when you return to the TV using the VIERA remote. This function reduces power consumption.

* To activate Intelligent Auto Standby (Auto Power Stand-by), both video and audio input switching are necessary.

When the power is turned off with the VIERA remote, the power of all AV products connected with HDMI cables is also automatically turned off.
