Contributing to biodiversity conservation by supporting WWF
As part of our 'eco ideas' for Everybody, Everywhere, Panasonic supports the following two programs promoted by WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature).
Yellow Sea Ecoregion Support Project (WWF Japan)
As a Corporate Supporter, Panasonic sponsors the 'Yellow Sea Ecoregion Support Project' which aims for coexistence between the Yellow Sea's marine ecosystem and the people along the coasts.
Arctic Programme (WWF International)
WWF's Arctic Programme seeks to eliminate existing and looming threats to the Arctic, a region that is a vital component of the global climate system. Panasonic is involved as a Project Supporter, and supports WWF's work in the Arctic which includes researching, monitoring, and supporting the continued well-being of key arctic species such as the polar bear.
