Panasonic Named Sector Leader of the Dow Jones Sustainability World Indexes, Global Indexes for Assessing Companies' CSR Performance, for the First Time

Panasonic has been selected for the Dow Jones Sustainability World Indexes (DJSI World), the major global indexes used for assessing the performance of companies in terms of corporate social responsibility (CSR) for the fourth consecutive year and recognized as the Sector Leader for the first time.

The Dow Jones Sustainability World Indexes are one of the world's most highly recognized socially responsible investment (SRI) indexes developed through a cooperation of Dow Jones Indexes in the U.S. and two other companies. Every year, the top 10% of companies are selected to form the index according to a corporate sustainability assessment of 2,500 leading companies worldwide. One company is recognized as the Sector Leader in each of the 57 industry groups.
