Energy Conservation in Products

Shown below is our current performance on energy efficiency using the Energy Star latest standards.

TVs (LCD-TV and PDP-TV)

1. 100% of 70 new models launched from 2008 to 2009 meet the latest Energy Star requirement(ver.3.0 Tier 1).
2. 100% of 70 new models exceed the standby mode requirement (1W) by 70% or more. (Amounts of power consumption of these products in the standby mode are 0.3W or less.)

PCs

1. 100% of products which are currently sold on markets meet the latest Energy Star requirement(ver. 5.0).
2. One representative series (CF-F8G) in (1) exceeds a Typical Energy Consumption (TEC) standard value by 33%.

External Power Suppliers (EPS) of Mobile Phones

100% of the models for the Japanese market meets the Energy Star requirement (Ver.1.1) and exceeds it in no load mode by approx. 85%.
