As DC/DC converter circuits having the better conversion factor have been used in power supply of small electronic devices, such as smart phones and DSCs, the converter circuits have become to be smaller and larger in current capacity. Power inductors to be installed have been required to be smaller, thinner as well as larger in current capacity. To meet the market demand, Industrial Devices Company, Panasonic Corporation has succeeded in developing “ the multilayer power inductor “ featuring small, thin, as well as large current in capacity, and also achieving the direct-current bias performance on top level in the industry. Although we have been producing the winding types of power inductors, we would like to expand our product line up by commercializing the multilayer power inductor, and will provide smart phone and DSC markets with them.
