September 12, 2012, Osaka, Japan-Industrial Devices Company, Panasonic Corporation has succeeded in commercializing “ the conductive-polymer hybrid aluminum electrolytic-capacitor (withstand voltage of 80V ) ”, which is surface-mount type and suitable for smoothing circuits of power supplies used in such communication infrastructure as communication base-station where high withstand-voltage is needed.

As such mobile communication-units as smart phones have rapidly spread, communication base-stations have been making rapid progress. Equipment used in base-stations have become smaller in size and lighter in weight, and electronic components to be used have been required to have higher withstanding voltage as well as higher reliability. To meet the market demand, Industrial Devices Company, Panasonic Corporation has commercialized “ the conductive-polymer hybrid aluminum electrolytic-capacitor (withstand voltage of 80 V ) ”, suitable for smoothing circuits of power supplies used in such communication infrastructure as communication base-station and featuring withstanding voltage of 80 V, and will commence mass production.
