Refer to the following during installation. Temperature of sensor detection area Detection range   20 ºC (68 ºF)      4 to 6 m (13 to 19.5 feet) 25 ºC (77 ºF)      3 to 5 m (9.8 to 16.4 feet) 30 ºC (86 ºF)      2 to 4 m (6.5 to 13 feet) 35 ºC (95 ºF)      up to 2 m (6.5 feet) *The range of the sensor becomes shorter as the temperature within the range of the sensor becomes higher. As a result, there may be times when the sensor does not detect properly in very high temperature environments, such as during summertime.
