The Network Camera sends a ping response, but still cannot be accessed from the web browser.
- If the Network Camera is connected to a different network than the PC, the default gateway may not be entered correctly under the network settings on the PC or Network Camera. Contact the administrator of the Network Cameras network and request that the cameras Default Gateway address be confirmed.
- The web browser may be trying to access the Network Camera through a proxy server. If you normally need to use a proxy server when accessing the internet, add your Network Cameras IP address to the list of addresses which are accessed directly, bypassing the proxy server. Consult the Help file of your web browser for more information.
