Electronic Whiteboard
Panaboard Overlayer Software* allows you to utilize a projector to display information from your PC onto the whiteboard, while allowing you to write notes on the board. When the meetings finished, you can save these handwritten notes from the electronic whiteboard to your PC, which can then be merged with the projected image displayed from your PC as a PDF/TIFF file. Documents created with Panaboard Overlayer Software can then be easily distributed to all meeting participants, eliminating the need for handwritten notes.

A new screen can be used without erasing the information on the previous screen. Simply press a button to scroll, even with a wall-mounted board.

Save handwritten notes from the whiteboard directly onto a PC by simply using a USB cable to connect the whiteboard to a PC. No software or device drivers required*1. Data of the proceedings can also be sent by e-mail to those who could not attend the meeting, or saved in a server for easy information sharing*2.

*2 This is not a function of the main Panaboard unit.
The scanned data can be stored onto a USB flash memory* in PDF or TIFF format. This provides carry-anywhere convenience and enables easy data use using a variety of office equipment.

* Direct connection to a PC with USB cable is also possible.
Scanned data can be quickly displayed and edited. All information can be organized into folders for easy management, and the contents of the folders can be checked by viewing thumbnail displays. This boosts efficiency by eliminating the need to start-up an application in order to display or edit the folder's contents.

The use of plain paper makes it easy to file it with other documents. Unlike thermal paper, plain paper minimizes fading and is ideal for long-term storage.

When ink film and paper are considered, the cost is less than for plain paper, thus reducing expenses over a long period of time.

A 3-step height adjustment*1 function makes the Panaboard easy for anyone to use, from children to adults. Wall mounting and casters*1 allow it to be set up in various places, for use in schools, offices, or just about anywhere.

The power consumed during standby has been reduced by 2/3 compared with our previous models.

The power automatically turns off if the unit is not used for approximately one hour after being in Ready Mode. This helps reduce energy costs, if the last person forgets to turn off the power switch.
* Only for the UB-5835 / UB-5335.
* Approximately 0.5 W of electricity is consumed even if the power is turned off. The Auto Power Off function can be disabled by the key operator. Also, certain device conditions may prevent the Auto Power Off feature to be activated.
