User Authentication / Job Tracking

In addition to establishing a practical and user-friendly IP-based network, many companies also need to enhance security. With Panasonic's User Authentication and Job Tracking, it is easy to determine who has used the MFP, and you can even tell when and where a fax, Internet fax, or email was sent, or where one was received from, and notify the system administrator with this information.

Problems : I worry that confidential information may be leaked by company employees.
  • The correspondence between my staff and our business connections and customers is sometimes unclear.
  • I worry that important and confidential data may be leaked.
Solutions : In addition to MFP log-in data, you can manage all data sending and receiving information.
  • By requiring a user ID and password, you can specify and limit copier, scanner, fax, and printer use (User Authentication).
  • You can monitor the time, sender, destination, and contents of faxes, email, and Internet faxes, and notify the system administrator of all the log data by email (Job Tracking).
  • For centralized management, you can use the optional Network Accounting Manager to monitor the communication log on a Web browser, and check the image data of documents sent or received by fax or Internet fax.

You can check in detail who used the system, to do what, at what time, to enhance overall security.

As more information is provided in an electronic format and copying becomes easier, it becomes increasingly difficult to find out how confidential information is leaked. The Panasonic security solution lets you protect confidential information such as printed documents or data in the machine's HDD.

Problems : I worry that printed documents may get lost or data from the copier's HDD may be leaked.
  • I do not want anybody, even my staff, to see confidential documents when they are printed.
  • I worry that confidential data remaining in the copier's HDD may be stolen when we dispose of the machine.
Solutions : You can specify a password for printing, and you can delete the data from the hard disk.
  • When there are many people using the machine, or when you don't want others to see the data, you can walk to the machine and print by entering your ID. (Mailbox Printing).
  • This is used when you want to keep information strictly confidential. (Secure Mailbox Printing).
  • The data on the MFP's hard disk is erased automatically. (HDD Data Erasure).
    - Deleting the data for each job
    - It is possible to erase the entire hard disk when the machine is disposed of.
  • You can further strengthen data leak prevention by setting passwords to protect settings and prevent unauthorized access to the hard disk. (Data Security Kit)

1. Document data deletion (Same as HDD Data Ensure)

Copy, print, and scan data on the hard disk can be deleted by overwriting it in either of two modes, Medium or High.

2. Hard disk drive lock management

By setting a password for the hard disk, it becomes impossible to access any data recorded onto it without the password, even if the hard disk drive is removed from the machine.

3. Security setting protection

An 8-digit password can be set that gives only the main operator the ability to make settings.
