1 Open the cover on the side of the camera.
2 Insert the SD memory card with the label acing the rear of the camera and the pins facing the front of the camera. Gently push the card with your finger until it clicks.
3 Close the cover.

memory card and confirm that the card is not writeprotected.

1. Adjust the camera angle.
When determining the camera angle, repeat fine adjustments by gradually moving the panning
table and tilting table.
*Attach the lens adjuster (accessory) to the lens and adjust the direction of the lens. Attach the wider end of the lens adjuster to the lens.
*Do not touch the lens with your hand when making adjustments.
*Make adjustments to the direction of the lens while confirming the picture displayed on computer's monitor.
*When adjusting the horizontal angle of cameras mounted to a ceiling, adjust the direction of the
lens by moving the lens holding the indentations on the sides of the lens.
2.Adjusting the focus of the lens
Attach the lens adjuster (accessory), and rotate the lens to adjust the focus of the lens.
*When making adjustments to the focus of the lens, attach the narrower end of the lens adjuster to the lens.

If a lens and pan/tilt head are not performed for a long period of time, the grease coating inside these parts may become sticky. That may obstruct the parts from moving.
To prevent this, move the lens or pan/tilt head periodically.Or perform position refresh.

When using an unformatted SD memory card, format it using this camera. Recorded data on the
SD memory card will be deleted when formatted. If an unformatted SD memory card or an SD
memory card formatted with other devices is used, this product may not work properly or performance deterioration may be caused. Refer to the Operating Instructions (included in the
CD-ROM) for how to format a SD memory card.
When some SD memory cards are used with this product, the product may not work properly or
performance deterioration may be caused. Use the SD memory cards recommended.

This will be the camera channel number that works with the preset. When using the alarm connector, the numbers will be fixed. That is, Connector 1 -> CH1, Connector 2 -> CH2, Connector 3 -> CH3, and Connector 4 -> CH4.
When using the command alarm, the numbers are used according to camera channels that are preset to work together with the commands.

Cameras are operating according to specification, which was set for the following two reasons:
(1) To prevent indefinite sound amplification by camera after an operator has used public addressing and forgot about it.
(2) To avoid the situation where sound amplification is unavailable for other users, since sound amplification can only be used by 1 user at a time.

We have not confirmed compatibility with AdjustPC. However, according to our experience, time synchronization had been possible with the software until around 2007, and began to fail after some update to the operating system.
Currently we have no recommended NTP software. An NTP server for Windows is available. Please see the article for details. * We confirmed that NTP-based synchronization is possible at this point, but permanent operation cannot be guaranteed.

*WV- series Network Camera

Install the plug-in software to the PC. Also, some security settings must be disabled.
If you access the camera from the browser and ActiveX installation is blocked when required, disable pop-up blocking and retry accessing to the same IP address.

In IE 8, change the following settings, and then clear the cache.

(1) Select "Tools" - "Compatibility View Settings", check "Display all websites in Compatibility View", and click "Close".
(2) Select "Safety" - "SmartScreen Filter" - "Turn off SmartScreen Filter", confirm that "Turn off SmartScreen Filter" is checked, and click "OK".

If you just want to view images from the cameras, the only software needed is a browser.

If you want to perform recording, you will need Recording and Viewing Software for Network Camera BB-HNP17 or Network Disk Recorder WJ-ND200, WJ-ND300A, WJ-ND400, or WJ-NV200.

The refresh speed of JPEG might slow down.

Monitoring a single camera from several clients is possible by limiting the bandwidth of the camera.

For example, this issue might be mitigated by setting the streaming mode for H.264 video to a fixed bit rate (data is streamed at an available bit rate per client) or best effort streaming (the streaming bit rate of the H.264 video is changed from the preset minimum and maximum bit rates according to available network bandwidth).
The default setting is to specify the frame rate (data is streamed at a preset frame rate).

Possible causes:
- The camera is streaming a JPEG image to another PC or recorder.
- VMD information assignment setting in ON.
- VMD alarm setting in ON.

This is due to auto-focus operation performed in the dark at night. (Then, when the sky brightens, the camera will be out of focus.)Check if an operation that performs auto-focus (such as PAN/TILT) is run at night.

(1) A temporary error might have been detected. Update the firmware.

(2) If firmware update does not fix the condition (if the computer is started in Safe Mode even after firmware update), the flash memory might be damaged.
In this case, it is likely that the only solution is replacing the actual device.

When JPEG is used, recording will not restart automatically after power recovery. Please start recording manually.
When H.264 is used, recording will restart after power recovery.

Audio will be heard only when displaying images from a single camera. It will not be heard when in the multi-screen mode.
Additionally, please note that when Audio Mode is set to "Interactive(Half-duplex)", when one user is using the microphone, other users cannot receive the audio, and neither the receiver button nor the transmission button will be available.

A plug-in-power microphone, RP-VC151, is available. The listening range is 4 m in radius.
When using a battery-powered or externally-powered microphone, the audio output volume must be lowered appropriately to prevent audio distortion.

(1) The UID specified in the keep alive CGI might be invalid. Check whether or not the keep alive command can be sent correctly using the obtained UID.
(2) Recheck the URL of the keep alive command.
