Port 80 is used for video streaming. (This can be changed in configuration.) If using the customized alarm notification function or NTP, the port corresponding to the protocol must be opened.

Yes. Using the Auto Erase function prevents slowing down of searches. Please note that if the device is overloaded, searches might still take time even though the Auto Erase function is used. In this case, the performance might improve by setting a longer alarm detection interval or changing event recording to scheduled recording.
