The single camera screen

  1. Pan scan (Horizontal movement)
    The pan scan function moves the camera continuously right and left.
  2. Tilt scan (Vertical movement)
    The tilt scan function moves the camera continuously up and down.
  3. Remote pan and tilt
    This function lets you change the direction of the camera by remote control, using a Web browser.
  4. Home position
    This function returns the camera shooting position to a pre-registered home position.
  5. Preset positions
    You can register up to twenty shooting positions in advance, to aim the camera exactly where you want it.
  6. Snapshot button
    Captures a still image and saves it on the PC.
  7. Listen button
    Produces the sound captured by the microphone connected to the network camera. Clicking on this button mutes the sound.
    Sound is muted.
  8. Sound level adjustment bar
    Put the cursor on the slider and move it to adjust the sound level. The sound level increases when it is moved to the right, and decreases when it is moved to the left.

    Click to view the image in 4:3 full-screen mode; clickto return to normal mode

  10. Click centering
    Using a Web browser, you can simply click on the part of the image you want to see, and automatically bring that part to the center of the screen.
  11. Banner
    A banner can be placed here and linked.

The multi camera screen

You can register other Panasonic Network Cameras to this camera and use the multi camera page to view images from multiple cameras. After you have registered the other cameras to this camera (up to 16 cameras can be registered), follow the procedure below to view camera images.

  1. Full-screen button
    Click to view the image in 4:3 full-screen mode; clickto return to normal mode.

  2. Layout buttons
    Changes the number of cameras displayed.
  3. View type selector
    Switches the display to a different set of cameras.
  4. Refresh rate selector
    Determines how often the camera image is refreshed. Select [MPEG-4] or [MJPEG] to view video images, or one of the other settings to view still images (JPEG format) that are refreshed only periodically.
  5. Image resolution selector
    Determines the resolution of the image (i.e., the size of the image in pixels) that is displayed.
  6. Snapshot button
    Captures a still image and saves it on the PC.
  7. Listen button
    Produces the sound captured by the microphone connected to the network camera. Clicking on this button mutes the sound.

  9. Camera name
    Click to view the selected camera's image in a new window.
