WJ-ND300A

Network Disk Recorder with expandable capacity for up to 32 Network Cameras: WJ-ND300A Network Disk Recorder supports for up to 32 network cameras. This multifunction disk recorder offers high image quality, high frame rate and system expandability required for the advanced network surveillance systems. From systems using existing networks to high-performance systems using dedicated networks the WJ-ND300A meets security needs across a wide range of applications.

Easy IP Set-up

When i-Pro series cameras are connected to the WJ-ND300A Network Disk Recorder, the Easy IP Set-up feature easily locates their IP addresses.

MPEG-4/JPEG Compatible

WJ-ND300A is compatible with JPEG and MPEG-4 from the i-Pro series network cameras. This allows high resolution recording and high frame rate recording simultaneously.

RAID5 Built-In

The Optional RAID5 Board; WJ-NDB301 enables high-level risk management by adding RAID5 capability to the WJ-ND300A.

System Integration with WJ-HD300A Series

Optional WV-ASM100 i-Pro Management Software or WV-AS65 Recorder Management Software permits simultaneous use of up to 100 WJ-ND300A and WJ-HD300A Series Digital Disk Recorders. By making it easy to construct hybrid systems incorporating existing analog equipment, it brings a new level of flexibility to surveillance and security management.

High Capacity Storage

The WJ-ND300A comes standard with a 250 GB HDD and can be configured with 3 additional hard disk drives for 2 TB of storage. The WJ-ND300A is capable of employing up to 14 TB of disk space with six WJ-HDE300 Hard Disk Extension Units, each of which four 500 GB HDDs can be installed in, enabling long term recording.

More Efficient Use of Storage Capacity

Full stream recording or I frame only recording is selectable in MPEG-4 mode, allowing a choice of high frame rate recording or disk saving. JPEG recording frame rate can be reduced while maintaining the viewing rate, which allows flexible disk space control.

A Wealth of Advanced Surveillance Features

To increase surveillance efficiency the WJ-ND300A recorder provides advanced surveillance features as follows.

Various Recording Mode: Manual, Schedule, Event (Pre/Post), Emergency and External Timer. Multiple parameter filters that provide accelerated search, and supports E-mail notification via FTP.
Flexible Playback Controls: A-B Repeat, Goto Date (Jump to specific time/date), Goto Last (Jump to 5 sec. ~ 5 min. before the record end)
Filtered Search: Time & Date, Event Type, Camera number, Text
Various alarm sources such as 16x Terminal inputs, 16x Camera alarms, Panasonic Alarm Protocol, and flexible alarm actions such as Alarm recording, E-mail notification, Alarm message, Camera positioning, FTP image transfer, Terminal output, Panasonic alarm protocol output, Buzzer and LED

High-level User Management

The WJ-ND300A allows for registration of up to 32 users with individual user ID and password. Operations and access to cameras and functions can be restricted for each user. For additional security, the host authorization function blocks access and operation from unregistered IP addresses.

IP Network

Flexibility: Use of an IP Network allows camera placement anywhere along the network. It also permits live monitoring, search, playback and recording at a remote site.
Scalability: Use of an IP Network also reduces the number of steps required to add cameras to the system. The installation flexibility allows users to design a system with optimum camera position, increasing surveillance effectiveness. With our optional WV-ASM100 i-Pro Management Software or WV-AS65 Recorder Management Software, systems can incorporate up to 100 WJ-ND300A Network Disk Recorders and up to 3,200 cameras.
Cost Efficiency: Because the WJ-ND300A can utilize an existing network infrastructure, it sharply reduces costs in both time and money compared to systems that require dedicated cabling. The use of ordinary PCs eliminates the need for dedicated monitors. Plus, with hard disk storage, the burden of replacing video tapes or other consumables is also reduced.

Instinctive Operation

3. Camera select Tab

To see a live image, simply click on the camera of your choice. Tree-type displays make it easy to organize cameras by floor or in other ways.

4. Camera control Tab

Here’s camera control panel including Pan/Tilt, Zoom, Focus, Brightness, Preset position call and program (up to 256), Auto mode.

5. Filtered Search

Records in the unit can be searched by various criteria such as Time & Date, Event type, Camera channel, or Text attachement.

User Friendly Setup

Quick setup and Advanced setup are available at user’s preference.

Display Setup, Camera Setup, Rec & Event Setup, and Network Setup: Minimum setup can be made by this menu.

Advanced Setup

System, Recording, Event, Schedule, Camera, Communication, User Management, and Maintenance steps allow you to fine tune your system. Frame rate can be specified for each camera.

Measurement Function for Frame Rate Selection

After setting the recording and viewing frame rate, click on the Measurement button to check if the required performance is actually achieved. A red display signals are displayed in case network speed, cameras performance and/or total bandwidth of the recorder is not enough.
