WV-NP1004 Megapixel Day/Night Network Camera is equipped with a 1.25 Mega Pixel CCD. Dual streaming delivers both seamless motion MPEG-4 and high precision JPEG. It includes a hybrid output; 1,280 x 960 JPEG/MPEG4 output and an analog output with 600(color) or 780 (B/W) TV lines horizontal resolution. Just as you would expect from Panasonic, WV-NP1004 includes many advanced features such as Auto Back Focus, SD Memory Card for alarm recording and backup upon network failure. Add the combination of networked operation convenience and high reliability, there's no question the WV-NP1004 is ideal for bank, office building, shopping mall, airport, and school surveillance applications, as well as other high-quality image transmission services.

Wider Area, Higher Resolution

Equipped with Progressive Scan 1.25 Mega Pixel CCD

This 1,280 x 960 pixel CCD uses progressive scan to eliminate tearing when capturing moving subjects. Plus, when comparing its 1,280 x 960 JPEG images with conventional VGA (640 x 480) JPEG images, WV-NP1004 is able to cover an area four times wider.

Real Time Monitoring & High Image Quality Recording

MPEG-4 and JPEG Dual Streaming

This camera allows real time monitoring in MPEG-4 (VGA : Max. 30 ips) while simultaneously shooting high-resolution JPEG (960 x 720: Max. 5 ips) images or MPEG-4 (VGA : Max. 15 ips) with JPEG (1,280 x 960: Max. 5 ips).

Full Scan/Partial Scan

WV-NP1004 includes 1280x960 full scan mode and 960 x 720 partial scan mode.

Advanced 24-Hour Surveillance Features

Day/Night Switching for 24-hour Surveillance

As the area around the camera darkens, it automatically switches to black and white mode with ABF adjustment. Then, when the lighting brightens, it automatically switches back to color mode with ABF adjustment, allowing use of a single camera for 24-hour surveillance.

Auto Back Focus for Perfect Focus 24 Hours a Day

This feature adjusts the position of the CCD as the camera switches to black and white mode, keeping focus sharp and clear. In addition, one-push Auto Focus eliminates the need for manual focus adjustment during installation. Focus can also be adjusted remotely, using the setup menu or optional controller.

Audio Features

WV-NP1004 is equipped with a high-sensitivity microphone, allowing for complete monitoring of the site (G.726 format).
