Local Award Ceremony

Panasonic Scholarship received 2,282 application forms in total from the designated eight countries and area including India which has been newly joined as our designated country since the 2008 application year. As a result of strict screening processes, 23 students were selected and nominated officially at Local Award Ceremony. Starting in China in June 2008, Local Award Ceremony was organized in the countries and area (except India) until November. The ceremonies were attended by VIPs from local governments and universities and Embassy of Japan as well as top managements of Panasonic Groups and Mr. Tadaharu Taguchi, President of Panasonic Scholarship Co., Ltd. with congratulatory messages to the nominees.
