Question 1

No wireless connection can be made between my display and my computer.

Answer

  • Has the software been started up?
This software must be started in the computer in order to enable wireless transmissions of images to the display.
  • Have the correct network settings been established?
When selecting a display whose network number is [USER1], [USER2], [USER3] or [M-DIRECT], check whether the correct network settings have been established for the display and for the computer.
  • Click of the software (launcher), and click [Messages].
Details of the actions to be taken are displayed so follow the instructions given.

Question 2

When computer has no administrator privileges.

Answer

If the computer has been logged on using an account without administrator privileges or using a guest account, it is not possible to select a display using the method described in "Using the [S-DIRECT], [S-MAP], [1], [2], [3] and [4] settings to select the displays".
(See page 22 of the Operating Instructions.)
If it is necessary to connect using a wireless LAN, select a display using the [USER1], [USER2], [USER3] or [M-DIRECT] network number.

Question 3

When the "Cannot find LAN adaptor" error is displayed.

Answer

  • Is the wireless LAN adaptor effective?
If the wireless LAN adaptor is disabled, enable it.
For some PCs with an internal wireless LAN, the hardware switch or the software setting might have turned off the wireless LAN.
If it is turned "OFF", turn it "ON" before starting this software.
(In the case of a computer which also uses Bluetooth, Bluetooth may take priority so switch the priority to wireless LAN.)
Refer to the operation manual of your PC for information about switching on/off.
  • Is your wireless LAN adaptor properly recognized on the network?
Sometimes, wireless LAN adaptors are not correctly recognized by the computer.
Check in [Device Manager] whether the adaptor is recognized correctly.
If the Network Adaptor is indicated with [?] in [Device Manager], wireless LAN adaptor installation is not complete.
See the User's Manual of your wireless LAN adaptor and re-install the driver.
