Parque Explora Medellin is an interactive science museum in Medellin, Colombia. Covering 22,000 square meters, the park contains an aquarium, a 3D auditorium, a planetarium, a television studio, a vivarium, and interactive zone for children, and more. Since its opening in 2007, the facility has been one of the most visited spots in Medellin.
Latin America's largest aquarium, "Eplora Aquario," houses nearly 4,000 organisms from more than 400 different species that mainly inhabit Colombia's rivers and oceans.

Because the projectors are installed at the slope way leading from the entrance, which is an area that is constantly filled with visitors, it was crucial that they be durable enough to project for long periods of time, and that maintenance be as easy as possible. Projection that would equal the beauty of the aquarium exhibits, with high picture quality and superb color reproduction, was also demanded.
Panasonic's first lamp-free projector, PT-RW330, provides solid reliability, excellent TCO, and long-lasting brightness, making it perfect for this application.
The lamp-free projector requires no lamp replacement or air filter, greatly reducing the maintenance hassle. And the LED/Laser combined light source achieves color reproduction with a wider color space and maintains excellent picture quality and brightness for a long period of time.
In addition, installation flexibility, including a 2x zoom lens, horizontal/vertical lens shift, and a Color Matching function allowed easy set up.
