8. Questions regarding "Schedule" and "Addition of content on SD card"

"Content Manager" is a built-in application of Space Player that enables to create the schedule data by using the web browser.
It is necessary to make the network connection setting in order to use this function.
Refer to the manual for the method of using Content Manager.

9. Is it possible to start projecting images from multiple Space Player units with the same timing?

By synchronizing the built-in clocks of the Space Player units and using the scheduled playback function, you can start projection of images from multiple units at about the same time.

Note: There may a deviation of about 1 second.

NTP clock synchronizing method

The following shows an example of the setup procedure.

  • (1) Connect the Space Players via a wired LAN (hub).
  • (2) Enter settings in the slave units (1) and (2) using a PC (wireless LAN).

[Important Notes]

  • • Simultaneous playback by multiple Space Players is not achieved by communication among devices.
  • • To simultaneously start playback of multiple Space Players, it is necessary to set the same playback start time in all Space Players so that they start playing back the content at the same scheduled start time.
  • • The NTP clock synchronization function synchronizes the built-in clocks of multiple slave units with the built-in clock of the master unit. This function minimizes the deviation of the playback start times.
  • • Even if the clocks are synchronized, a deviation of about 1 second occurs.
  • • When using the playback repeat function, make sure that the content lengths are the same.
  • • A wireless LAN can be used. However, the use of a wireless LAN is not recommended because the operation is affected by the communication environment.

[Preparation]

  • 1. Using the remote control, set an appropriate IP address in each Space Player, making sure that the IP address is not duplicated.
(MENU → NETWORK → WIRED LAN) The default IP address is "192.168.10.100".
Change the default setting to "192.168.10.101" and so forth in slave units.
  • 2. Connect the Space Players via an Ethernet Switch.

10. Can the Space Player and a lighting system be interlocked in operation?

The Space Player does not have an operation linking function. Operation linking may be possible by using external equipment.

* CAUTION

The Space Player cannot be mounted to a light dimmer track system.
A separate track system without a light dimmer function must be installed for the Space Player.
