Panasonic LED lighting perfectly suitsthe enchanting atmosphere ofhistoric Kiyomizu-dera

In November 2012, Panasonic replaced 817 light bulbs in the main hall and main lecture hall, etc. of Kiyomizu-dera Temple in Kyoto.
Panasonic has independently developed two units: Feu, which measures “illuminance?(people’s subjective perception of brightness), and V, which measures the degree of light and dark contrast. Adjusting the levels of these two enables the creation of various lighting atmospheres.
At Kiyomizu-dera Temple, LED lights installed in 13 indoor and outdoor locations illuminates Kiyomizu-dera Temple at night with atmospheric mood.
Durable and long-lasting LEDs contribute to curbing interior maintenance costs

Switching to LEDs, which are highly energy-efficient and long-lasting compared to incandescent lighting, saves labor in terms of bulb replacement and disposal.
They also minimize ultraviolet and infrared damage, helping to curtail maintenance costs for the main hall and Important Cultural Properties.
