The Lighting Division boasts a main factory that is among the largest of its kind, producing base lights, guide lights, and more.

With the help of industrial technology and LED lighting, we have reduced CO2 emissions by 32.5% (*) (consumption units) throughout our Niigata plant.

(*) Compared with FY2020 and based on FY2012 values

As part of our new initiatives, we aim to further save energy through lighting control and lighting design, while simultaneously improving the plant’s spatial value.

Promoting carbon emission reduction through luminance design and the right lighting for the right place

Promoting lower carbon emissions through luminance design, starting with the adoption of the “Feu” space brightness index, and through lighting design that focuses on the right lighting for the right place with regard to task and ambient lighting. We also support DIALux-based design.
