We aim to achieve zero CO2 emissions in
all our factories around the world by 2030.

Toward the achievement of our environmental goals in 2050, we are promoting rigorous energy conservation at our manufacturing sites and aiming for zero CO2 emissions in all our factories around the world by 2030 through the introduction of renewable energy, purchase of non-fossil fuel certificates, and other measures. By the end of FY2024, we will realize net zero CO2 emissions in at least two factories, including our Lighting Business Division Niigata Factory (Tsubame City, Niigata Prefecture), and aim for zero CO2 emissions in Scopes 1 and 2.
