Environmental Activities

We position “environmental contribution” as a pillar of our business activitiesand aim to realize a sustainable and better future through Well-Being.

Policies

1. We promote environmental activities throughout the entire product life cycle*1,including effective energy use (mitigation of climate change through CO₂ emission reductions),protection of natural resources through resource recycling, reduction of water usage, enhancement of chemical substance management, and consideration for biodiversity and ecosystems.
2. We establish environmental objectives and continuously improve the environmental management system across all global divisions, including affiliated companies.
3. We comply with environmental laws and regulations, as well as environmental practices agreed upon with relevant organizations.
4. We engage in environmental education, awareness activities, and information disclosure.
5. We contribute to society by cooperating with and supporting the activities of national and local governments and other related organizations.
