The second donation: Sone in Nusa Tenggara Timur, Indonesia
The 2nd recipient was Sone in Indonesia.
Our theme was "Lantern Zoo", so we collected animal designs. We received postings of over 800 designs from over 160 countries and regions, and also received more than 70 thousand votes. We produced lantern shades from the 110 designs chosen by the web voting and donated them to Sone village. After the Donation Ceremony, the shades and solar lanterns were arranged in the village common to convene a "Lantern Zoo". This ceremony and event can be viewed in our video.
The movie is a documentary of the donation of the solar lanterns and shades that people around the world designed and that were donated to Sone in Nusa Tenggara Timur, Indonesia in February 2015.
