These paintings were selected from 2,476 entries on the theme "How Contemporary Children Envisage Life and Society 5,000 Years Hence.' The children ranged in age from 6 to 14 years old. Both paintings were processed by the dye-transfer method in preparation for their inclusion in the capsule.
